Part of learning a foreign language is studying its vocabulary and grammar. However, there is also another very important side, which is the language´s culture – a cultural linguistic immersion in the place where that language is spoken through its artistic expressions like dancing and lyrics, for instance.
The contribution of Cuba to the universal world of dancing has been paramount: there is a mix of plenty of Caribbean rhythms on the island giving rise to Salsa, associated nowadays with the “typical Latin dance”.
Salsa is a dancing style combining the rhythms of Son, Mambo, and particularly with Cha-Cha-Cha. Salsa is also the essence of the Cuban people. We have three Cuban destinations where you can learn to dance salsa: Trinidad, Santiago de Cuba or Havana while you learn Spanish in an Intensive, Super intensive or One-to-One course!
Salsa Dance Course: 5 class hours per week
