Throughout the world Argentina is known for many things; one of them is the Tango, a famous rioplatense dance. Tango is a highly complex and a very sensual dance normally accompanied by lyrics and music interpreted by a sextet. Tango songs are usually sad, and they talk about love problems; however, there are also some songs referring to politics and even including some humor.
The tango lyrics incorporate plenty of slang words characteristic to Buenos Aires city´s port areas. The slang, called Lunfardo, has lots of personalized words spoken with a peculiar accent and an obvious dropping of the “s” sound.
If you learn both this sensual dance together with studying Spanish in Argentina while you visit the typical cafés where tango can be seen, you will have an unforgettable Spanish learning experience, one that is definitely less than ordinary: you will live the real Buenos Aires´ spirit.

Our Spanish + Tango course includes 20 group classes of Spanish during the week + 8 lessons of Tango in the evening. It will also include a conceptual lesson and a Tango show to watch.
